AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING
SECTION 6220 OF THE BALDWIN PARK
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO TAXI.
SERVICE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I, That Section 6220 of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
a) 6220. Rates: The rates to be charged
for taxi service shall be subject to the approval of the City Council
Rates may be modified or adjusted only with the approval of the City
Council; rate changes may be initiated either by the owner or by the
City Council on recommendation of the Chief Administrative Officer,
Action of the City Council, hereunder, shall be by motion, carried
by not less than three 5) affirmative votes,
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of this ordinance and cause the same to be published
in the manner prescribed by law,
