AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING SECTION
3380 OF THE BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE,
RELATING TO SPECIAL SPEED ZONES. BALDWIN
PARK BOULEVARD, MAINE AVENUE, PUENTE AVENUE
AND FRANCISQUITO AVENUE)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 3380 of the Baldwin Park Municipal
Code, relating to Special Speed Zones, is hereby amended to read as
follows:
3380. Increasing State Speed Limit in Certain Zones.
It is hereby determined upon the basis of an engineering
and traffic investigation that speed permitted by State
Law upon the following streets is less than is necessary
for safe operation of vehicles thereon by reason of the
designation and sign-posting of said streets as through
highways and or) by reason of widely spaced intersections,
and it is hereby declared that the prima facie speed limit
shall be as hereinafter set forth on those streets or parts
of streets herein designated when signs are erected giving
notice thereof:

SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published in the manner
prescribed by law.
