AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING SECTION
9537 OF THE BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE,
RELATING TO REQUIRED YARDS. AZC-37)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That Subparagraph 4 of Section 9557 of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code is hereby amended,, to read as follows;
4. Unenclosed covered patios may extend into required
yard areas, as hereinafter provided:
a) There shall be observed a rear yard
area not less than five feet in depth^
nor shall any portion of a patio be
located closer than five feet to an
adjacent side lot line in such rear
yard area,
b) There shall be observed a five foot
in width side yard area adjacent to
the patio roofo
c) The patio roof shall not cover more
than 5Q% of the required yard area.
Yard areas shall be open and unobstructed from ground to sky;
enclosed patios shall observe all zoning regulations applicable
for the zone in which located,"
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in the manner prescribed by
law.,
