AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING SECTION
2255 OF THE BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE,
RELATING TO RECREATION AND PARK
COMMISSION MEETING PLACE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS;
SECTION I. That Section 2233 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code is
hereby amended to read as follows;
2235. MEETINGS. The Commission shall conduct its
regular meetings' in the Council Chambers in City Hall at
times to be established by the Commission."
SECTION 2, That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance and cause the same to be published in the manner prescribed by law.

SUBJECT: Agenda Items for Wednesday. July 3, 1968
1. ORDINANCE NO, 530 Re: MEETING PLACE OF
RECREATION AND PARK COMMISSION,
Since the creation of the Recreation and Park Commission
in the fall of 1967 they have met in the administration building in
Morgan Park in accordance with Section 2233 of the Municipal Code
of Baldwin Park.
Recently the Commission requested that the location of
their regular meeting place be changed to the City Council Chambers
inasmuch as all other Boards and Commissions meet in this location.
Since City Hall is a better known location it is of some
advantage to change the meeting place of the Commission as requested.
This will be accomplished officially by adoption of Ordinance No. 530
2. COMMUNITY RECREATION AGREEMENT»
This Agreement is virtually identical with the agreement
entered into with the School District for the past several years.
It calls for a contribution by the district to the City
Recreation program for some $11,750 and makes available certain
existing school grounds for the recreation program.
Approval of the agreement is recommended and that the
proper officials be authorized to sign the document.

3. WAIVER OF IMPROVEMENTS REAR OF 4737 STEWART>
Attached hereto is a copy of a letter from Arthur E.
and Betty L. Hall requesting waiver of curb, gutter, and sidewalks
on the proposed extension of Cutler which is to the rear of the
property being improved at 4737 Stewart,
Curb, gutter, and sidewalks are being installed along
the Stewart Street frontage. However, street grades and design on
the proposed section of Cutler have not been established.
In accordance with Section 8106 of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code it is recommended that the proposed Cutler Street
improvements be waived.
