AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING
AND REPEALING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF
THE BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE,
RELATING TO THE BOARD OF ZONING
ADJUSTMENT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Sections 9701 through 9705, inclusive,
of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, are hereby repealed and
rescinded.
SECTION 2. That Subparagraph 4 is hereby added to
Section 9434(P) of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, to read
as follows:
4. Planning Commission shall mean
the duly constituted Planning Commission of
the City of Baldwin Park; wherever in this
Code reference is made to the Board of Zoning
Adjustment, said phrase shall be deemed to
mean the Planning Commission of said City."
SECTION 3. That Section 9700 of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 9700. Planning Commission,
Additional Duties. Whenever any duty is
assigned by any provision of this Code to
the Board of Zoning Adjustment, such duty
or act shall be performed by the Planning
Commission of said City.n
SECTION 4. That the provisions of this Ordinance shall
take effect on November 1, 1968; provided that should any
matter be pending before the Board of Zoning Adjustment as
of the effective date of this Ordinance, the same shall be
transferred for processing and action to the Planning
Commission of said City.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published in the manner prescribed by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of October 1968.
