AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK REZONING CERTAIN
HEREIN DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY CASE NO.
Z-310, Part A"). CITY INITIATED)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare as
follows:
a) That the Planning Commission of the
City of Baldwin Park has heretofore initiated
a zone change proceeding from Zones R-l and
C-M to Zone M-l, for certain real property
described in Planning Commission Resolution
No. PC68-19, and more particularly described
as follows:
That portion of Section 8, T. 1 S.,
R. 10 W» in the County of Los Angeles,
State of California, described as
follows:
A parcel of land 70 feet wide adjacent
to the northerly line of Tract 14416
recorded in Book 363, Page 23, in the
office of the County Recorder of said
County; said parcel bounded on the east
by Azusa Canyon Road and on the west by
the northerly projection of the westerly
line of said Tract 14416.
b) That the Commission conducted a duly
noticed public hearing, and has recommended by
its Resolution No. PC68-19, that the rezoning,
above described, be accomplished; and
c) That the City Council conducted a
duly noticed public hearing upon the
recommendation of the Planning Commission,
and based upon the evidence adduced, the
Planning Commission's resolution, the summary
of hearings before the Commission, and appli-
cable staff reports, determined that the public
interest, convenience and necessity require
that said property be rezoned as above described.
SECTION 2. That, notwithstanding the provisions of
Section 9451 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, the above
described property be, and the same hereby is, rezoned from
Zones R-l and C-m to Zone M-l.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published in the manner prescribed by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 20 day of November 1968.
