AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK APPROVING THE ANNEXATION TO
SAID CITY OF THAT CERTAIN CONTIGUOUS UNINHABITED
TERR I TORY DESIGNATED AS C I TY OF BALDWIN PARK
ANNEXATION NO. 19"
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park did adopt
Resolution No. 69-51 entitled A Resolution of the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park Declaring that Proceedings Have Been Initiated by the City Council of
the City of Baldwin Park, to Annex to Said City Certain Uninhabited Territory
Described Herein and Designated as City of Baldwin Park Annexation No. 19'",
which Resolution recited that the proceedings for the annexation of the territory
hereinafter described were initiated on said Council's own motion, stated the reasons,
specifically described the boundaries of the territory sought to be annexed to said
City and fixed May 21, 1969, at the hour of 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers of
the City Hall of said City, as the day, hour and place when and where said City
Council would hear protests made by any person owning real property within such
territory so proposed to be annexed to the City of Baldwin Park.
SECTION 2. That at said time and place of hearing, said City Council found
and determined that the publication of aforesaid Resolution had been made at the
tiroes and in the manner required by Section 55300 et seq. of the Government Code of
the State of California, and that written notice of such proposed annexation had been
mailed to each person entitled to notice under the provisions of said Government Code;
that the territory thus proposed to be annexed was and is, uninhabited, and is contig-
uous to the City of Baldwin Park; and that the annexation of said territory is auth-
orized by the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939.
SECTION 3. That under, pursuant to and in accordance with, the provisions of
the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, the annexation to the City
of Baldwin Park of that certain uninhabited territory contiguous to said City
described hereinafter, be, and the same hereby is, ratified, confirmed and approved,
That the specific description of the boundaries of said territory, as submitted to
and approved by the Local Agency Formation Commission of Los Angeles County, is as
to I lows:
Beginning at the most northerly corner of Lot 15 of Tract No, 15555,
as per map filed In Book 588, pages 61 and 62 of Maps in the office
of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, State of California
said most northerly corner being on the boundary of the City of
Baldwin Park as it existed on December 23, 1968); thence westerly,
northwesterly, northeasterly, northwesterly, southwesterly, north-
westerly, southwesterly, northwesterly and southwesterly along
said boundary of the City of Baldwin Park to the southeasterly
corner of Annexation No. 13" to the City of Baldwin Park adopted
as City of Baldwin Park Ordinance No, 296 certified by the Secretary
of State on September 27, 1963; thence easterly In a direct line
to the reost westerly corner of Annexation Area No. 74" to the City
of Industry adopted as City of Industry Ordinance No. 216 certified
by the Secretary of State on April 17, 1963; thence northeasterly,
southeasterly, southerly, easierly, southwesterly, and easterly
along the boundary of the City of Industry as it existed on December
23, 1968 to the northwesterly corner of Lot 35 of said Tract No.
15555; thence easterly along the northerly line of said Tract No.
15555 said northerly line also being the southerly line of Walnut
Creek Wash, of the Los Angeles County Flood Control District as per
County Surveyor's Filed Map No. 12407, Sheet No. 2, on file in the
office of the County Engineer of said county to the point of beginning.

ORD 550 Ü h£Ÿjì ¿ ļISECTION 4. That upon the taking effect of this Ordinance, the City Clerk
shall forthwith certify, under the seal of said City of Baldwin Park, and transmit
to the Secretary of State of the State of California, a copy of this Ordinance
giving the date of its passage.
SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty 30) days after
the date of its adoption, and within fifteen 15) days after its adoption it
shaN be published in the manner prescribed by law.

I, THELMA L. BALKUS, City Clerk of the City of Baldwin Park, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 550 was regularly introduced and placed
upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 21st
day of May______, 1969. That, thereafter, said Ordinance was duly adopted
and passed at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 4th day of
June 1969, by the following vote;
