ORDINANCE NO. 553
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OP
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK APPROVING A
SPECIFIC PLAN SPECIFIC PLAN NO. 14).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS;
SECTION I. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare as
follows:
at That pursuant to Section 65450 et seq.
of the Government Code of the State of California,
the-same being the Planning and Zoning Law", the
Planning Commission of City heretofore initiated
proceedings for a sped Me plan, the same being
designated as Specific Plan No, 14} and

b) That as a result of the oublic hearings
conducted by the said Commission upon said Specific
Plan No. 14, the recoiflmendatlon was made that the
said Plan, as depicted on Exhibit A", hereinafter
referred to, be adopted} and
c) That the City Council conducted a duly
noticed public hearing upon said matter, and there-
after determined that the public Interest, convenience
and necessity required the adoption of said Specific
Plan and regulations applicable thereto, as herein-
after set forth, and the City Council, based upon
the Connnission'S recommendations, and the evidence
presented to It, determined that any development
of the real property, hereinafter described, except
as provided herein, would have the effect of defeat-
ing the effectiveness and implementation of said
Specific Plan No. 14, and, accordingly, that the
public interest, convenience and necessity require
the approval of the said plan In the manner herein-
after set forth.
SECTION 2. That Section 9877 is hereby added to the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code to read as follows:
9877. SPECIFIC PlAN NO. IA. Specific
Plan No. 14, as recommended by the Planning
Commission, Is hereby approved; the development
of the street pattern in the area to which said
Spetlfic Plan relates shall be accommodated In
substantially the form as is shown on Exhibit A"
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this
reference. No division of any property by means
of a subdivision tract map or parcel maps shall
be approved, unless the same is in substantial
conformity with said Specific Plan No. 14, as
shown on Exhibit A0.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption hereof and cause this Ordinance to be published in
the manner prescribed by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 20th day of August 1969.
