AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING
THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY, AND
REZONING CERTAIN HEREIN DESCRIBED
REAL PROPERTY FROM ZONE M-1 TO
ZONE M-2. ZONE CAST NO. Z-379)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That, notwithstanding the provisions of Section J451 of
the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, that certain real property, descrijed as
follo'./s:
That portion of land in the City of Baldwin Park, County
of Los Angeles, State of California, described as
follows:
Beginning at the intersection of tne easterly line of the
City of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power right-
of-way and the westerly prolongation of the centerline of
Olive Street; thence westerly along said orolongation also
being the boundary of the City of Baldwin Park, to the
westerly boundary of the City of Baldwin Park; thence
southerly along said westerly boundary to the westerly
prolongation of the northerly line of Tract 16318; thence
easterly along said prolongation to a tine wnich is parallel
and 624.03 feet westerly of the easterly line of Lot 26 of
said Tract 16918; thence northerly along said parallel line
to a line which is parallel and 330 feet northerly of said
nortnerly line of Tract 16918; thence easterly along said
last mentioned parallel line to the westerly line of Dunia
Street of Tract 21614; thence northerly along said last
mentioned westerly line to the southwesterly tine of Lot 25
of said Tract 21614; thence northwesterly along said south-
westerly line to the northwesterly boundary of said Tract
21614, tnence northeasterly along said boundary and boundary
prolongation to a line which is parallel and 97 feet northerly
of the northerly boundary of said Tract 21614; thence easterly
along said last mentioned parallel line to a line which is
parallel and 250 feet westerly of Center Street as originally
dedicated; thence northerly along said last mentioned parallel
line to a line which is parallel and 277 feet northerly of
said northerly boundary of Tract 21614; thence westerly along
said last mentioned parallel line 302.65 feet; thence north-
easterly parallel to said easterly line of the City of Los
Angeles Department of Water and Power right-of-way 319.18 feet;
thence easterly along a line which is parallel to the center-
line of Olive Street to said easterly line of the Water and
Power right-of-way; thence northeasterly along said right-of-
way line to the point of beginning.
Except therefrom that portion of land southeasterly of a line
which is parallel with an distant northwesterly 180 feet
measured at right angles from the northwesterly tine of City
of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power Right-of-Way
be, and the same hereby is, rezoned from Zone M-1 to Zone M-2, and the
Director of Planning snail amend the Zoning Mao of the Citv of Baldwin
Park" to reflect suc.i c.iange.

SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance and cause the same to be published in the manner prescribed by law
PASSED AND APPROVED this 4th day of February 1970.

hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 561 was regularly introduced
and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the City Council
on the 21st day of January 1970. That, thereafter, said Ordinance was duly
adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 4th day
of February, 1970, by the following vote:
