ORDINANCE NO. 596
AN ORDINWCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ESTABLISHING
M OUTDOOR ADVERTISING DISTRICT CASE
NO. Z-322j CITY INITIATED).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare as
follows:
a) That pursuant to Section 9825 et
seq. of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code,
proceedings have heretofore been initiated
for the creation of an outdoor advertising
district; and
b) That attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference, marked Exhibits A" and
B" are those certain documents which contain the
descriptions of the real property to which said
outdoor advertising district relates; and
c) That the Planning Commission con-
ducted a duly noticed public hearing upon said
matter, and thereafter, determined that the
public interest, convenience and necessity
require the creation of said district; and
d) That the City Council considered said
matter at a duly noticed public hearing, and
determined to accept the recommendation of the
Comnlsslon, In principle, as hereinafter set
forth.
SECTION 2. That an outdoor advertising district be,
and the seme hereby Is, created, including all of those
real properties as described on Exhibited" md B" attached
hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. From and
after the effective date of this Ordinance, outdoor advertising
structures may be erected upon any of the said properties
described on said Exhibits A" aid B", provided that compliance
is had with all applicable laws, including, but not limited to,
Section 9825 et seq. of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify the
adoption hereof and cause this Ordinance to be published in
the manner prescribed by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of June, 1971.

was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 2nd day of June 1971 by the following vote:
