AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK REZONING
CERTAIN HEREIN DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY
CASE NO. Z-349; CITY INITIATED).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare, as
follows:
a) That the Planning Commission of
the City of Baldwin Park has heretofore
initiated a zone change proceeding from
Zone R-l to Zone R-3 for certain real
property described in Planning Commission
Resolution No. PC71-51, and more partic-
ularly described as follows:
Parcels 6 and 8 on Page 6 of the
1971 County Assessor's Map Book
No. 8460,
More commonly known as 3132, 3134,
3128, 3120, 3126, 3122 and 3124
Big Dalton Avenue, City of Baldwin
Park, County of Los Angeles, State
of California;
and
b) That the Commission conducted a
duly noticed public hearing upon said matter
and has recommended by its Resolution No.
PC71-51 that the rezoning, above described,
be accomplished; and
c) That the City Council conducted
a duly noticed public hearing upon the
recommendation of the Planning Conmission,
and based upon the evidence adduced, the
Planning Commission's resolution, the summary
of hearings before the Commission, and appli-
cable staff reports, determined that the
public interest, convenience and necessity
require that said property be rezoned as
above described.
SECTION 2. That notwithstanding the provisions of
Section 9451 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, the herein
above described real property be, and the same hereby is,
reclas sifted from Zone R-l to Zone R-3.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify the
adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published in the manner prescribed by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 17th day of November
1971.
