ORDINANCE NO. 621
AM ORDINMCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAUMIN PARK AIENDING SECTIONS
2914 d). 2917 AND 2918 OF THE BALDWIN
PARK MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO PURCHASING
OF SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1. Subparagraph d) of Section 2914 and
Sections 2917 and 2918 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code are
hereby amended to read as follows:
d) When the amount of said purchase
involved is less than $1,200.00."
First paragraph of Section 2917 Fbmal
Contract Procedure. Except as otherwise
provided herein, purchases and contracts
for supplies and equipment of an
estimated value greater that $1,200-00
which do not constitute a public project,
as defined by Section 37901 of the
Goverment Code, shall be by written
contract with the lowest responsible
bidder pursuant to the procedure prescribed
herein.11
First paragraph of Section 2918 Open
Market Procedure. Purchases of supplies
and equipment of an estimated value in
the amount of $1,200.00 or less wy be
ade by the Purchasing Officer in the
open aarket without observing the
procedure prescribed by Section 2917."
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the adaption of this Ordinance and shall post or publish the
sale in the anner prescribed by IBM.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this15th day of December, 1971
