ORDINANCE NO. 624
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING
SECTIONS 9428, 9479, 9551, 9560 AND
9570 OF THE BALDWIN PARK MUNICIIAL
CODE RELATING TO HOUSEHOLD PETS. AZC-52)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Subsection 9 of Section 9428 of the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as
follows:
9. Household pets shall mean any
domesticated animal commonly maintained in
residence with man. It shall not include
horses, pigs, goats, roosters, or any
animal which is, or could be, dangerous to
life or linfc."
SECTION 2. That Section 9479 of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding thereto, the
following as Subparagraph e):
e) Household Pets. An increase in
the number and/or type oT household pets
permitted in any of the R' Zones."
SECTION 3. That Subsection 3 of Section 9551 of the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as
follows:
3. Household pets over three months of
age, limited as follows:
a) Three per lot if there is
only one dwelling unit upon such lot;
b) One per dwelling unit if
there are two or more dwelling units
upon a lot."
SECTION 4. That Subsection 4 is hereby added to
Section 9560 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code to read as
follows:
4. Household pets over three months of
age, limited as follows:
a) Three per lot if there is
only one dwelling unit upon such lot;
b) One per dwelling unit if
there are two or more dwelling units
upon a lot."
SECTION 5. That Subsection 5 is hereby added to
Section 9570 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code to read as
follows:

5. Household pets over three nxmths of
age, limited as follows:
a) Three per lot if there Is
only one dwelling unit upon such lot;
b) One per dwelling unit if
there are two or more dwelling units
upon a lot."
SECTION 6. That the City Cleric shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published in the manner prescribed by law.
