AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ADDING SECTION 4102
TO THE BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE RE-
LATING TO THE ANIMAL CONTROL ORDINANCE
URGENCY)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 4102 is hereby added to the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code which shall read as follows:
Section 4102. That Section 421 is hereby added
to the Animal Control Ordinance heretofore adopted,
to read as follows:
421. Whenever dog license tags are issued and
not covered by Section 410, any such tag shall be
issued for one-half of the fee required for a dog,
if a certificate is presented from a licensed
veterinarian that the dog has been spayed or neutered
as provided in Section 30804.5 of the Food and
Agricultural Code."
SECTION 2. That this Ordinance is hereby declared an
urgency measure and shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption. A statement of facts constituting the basis for
the urgency of this Ordinance is as follows:
That the provisions of this Ordinance are
required by State law, and it is necessary that
the provisions of this Ordinance be effectuated
by July 1, 1974.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption hereof, and cause this Ordinance to be published
in the manner prescribed by law.
PASSED and APPROVED this 28th day of June 1974.
