ORDINANCE NO. 704 S^CWO READING.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK. AMENDING
SECTION 3053 AND SECTION 3054 OF THE
BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING
TO FIREWORKS PERMITS URGENCY)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Sections 3053 and 3054 of the Baldwin Park Municipal
Code are hereby amended, as follows:
a) Section 3053: Strike the word May" and insert
the word June"; and
b) Section 3054: Strike the number 14" and insert
the number 1511.
SECTION 2. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an urgency
Ordinance and shall take effect immediately upon its adoption and shall
remain in full force and effect for a period of 60 days. A statement of
facts constituting the basis of its urgency is as follows:
That an organization, which has held permits for many
years, failed, through no fault of its own, to timely file
an application for such fireworks permit; that the said
organization is worthy, and is worthy of relief from its
default; and that the public peace, health and safety re-
quire its immediate adoption.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption hereof
and cause this Ordinance to be published in the manner prescribed by law.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 21st day of May. 1975.
