YOUTH ACTIVITY ADVISORY COMlv ESS ION
FOR THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK""
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Part D/ Sc-cbions 2435-2438 inclusive, are
hereby added to Chapter 4, Ar' ic'lc II of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code, to read as follows:
Part D Youth Activity Advi iory Commission
2435. Youth Activity Advisory Commission Established.
That there being a need for a youth commission to
function in the City, a Youth Activity Advisory
Commission be/ and the same hereby is, created in
and for the City of Baldwin Park.
2436. Membership. The Yout i Activity Advisory
Commission shall consist of if teen 15) persons
who shall be qualified residents, or engaged in
a business or profession in the City at the time
of their appointment and at all other times during
their terms.
2437. Terms. The term of office for members of the
Youth Activity Advisory Commission shall be for a
period of one 1) year, subject to provisions of
Part A hereof.
2438- Duties. The Youth Activity Advisory Commission
shall perform the following duties;
a) Act in an advisory capacity to the City
Council in all matters pertaining to
youth and their needs
b) Act in an advisory capacity to the City
Council with respect to the development
of programs for youth.
c) Exercise such other powers and duties
as may be assigned by order of the
City Council.
Section 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published in the manner prescribed by law-
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of May 1976.
