AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF___________^
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK CREATING A
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT ADVISORY
COMMISSION FOR THE CITY OF BALDWIN
PARK
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Part G, Sections 2459-2459.3 inclusive, are
hereby added to Chapter 4, Article II of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code, to read as follows:
Part G Community Redevelopment Advisory Commission
2459. Community Redevelopment Advisory Commission
Established. That there being a need for community
input to the Community Redevelopment Agency/ a
Community Redevelopment Advisory Commission be, and
the same hereby is/ created in and for the City of
Baldwin Park.
2459.1 Membership. The Community Redevelopment
Advisory Commission shall consist of five 5)
persons of whom shall be qualified residents or
property owners of the City at the time of their
appointment and at all other times during their
terms.
2459-2 Terms. The term of office for members of
the Community Redevelopment Advisory Commission
shall be for a period of one 1) year, subject to
provisions of Part A hereof.
2459.3 Duties. The Community Redevelopment Advisory
Commission shall perform the following duties:
a) Act in an advisory capacity to the City
Council in all matters pertaining to
community redevelopment.
b) Act in an advisory capacity to the City
Council with respect to the planning,
programing and scheduling of development
programs for commercial, industrial,
residential and public uses.
c) Exercise such other powers and duties
as may be assigned by order of the
Ci by Council.
Section 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published in the manner prescribed by law.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of May 1976.
