ORDINANCE NO. 778
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING
SECTION 3010 OF THE BALDWIN PARK
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO FIRE
CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 3010 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
3010. ADOPTION OF A FIRE CODE FOR THE CITY. There is
hereby adopted by the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park,
for the purpose of establishing regulations governing conditions
hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, that
certain Ordinance of the County of Los Angeles No. 2947, as
amended through and including, December 31, 1978. Said
Ordinance adopted by reference that certain Code, known as the
Uniform Fire Code', August 1977 Edition hereafter Fire Code')
compiled by the California Fire Chiefs Association, the whole
thereof, save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted,
modified or amended, and the secondary codes referred to therein.
The said Ordinance, Fire Code and the secondary codes referred
to therein, has been hereto filed, in triplicate, in the office
of the City Clerk of the City."
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Ordinance
and cause the same to be published in the manner prescribed by law.
