ORDINANCE NO. 788
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING
SECTIONS 3301 AND 3306 OF THE
BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO BICYCLE REGULATIONS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Sections 3301 and 3306 of the Baldwin Park Municipal
Code are hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 3301. DURATION OF LICENSE. The Police
Chief or other such person as may be designated
by the City Council is hereby authorized and
directed to issue, upon written application
therefor, bicycle licenses which shall be
effective commencing on the date of issuance
and will entitle said bicycle to be operated
upon all the streets, exclusive of the sidewalks
thereof, in the City.
Section 3306. LICENSE FEE. The license fee to
be paid for each bicycle shall be as follows:
1) One time charge for bicycle license plate
shall be $3.50.
2) Charge for bicycle renewal sticker, which
is valid for a period of three 3) years,
shall be $3.00.
3) Bicycle license is not valid without a
renewal sticker."
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this
Ordinance and cause the same to be published in the manner prescribed by law.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of December 1978.
