ORDINANCE NO. 806
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING THE ZONING
OF SAID CITY, AND REZONING CERTAIN HEREIN
DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY TO CONFORM TO THE
GENERAL PLAN. ZONE CASE NO. Z-428, CITY
INITIATED)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:

That notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9451 of
the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, that certain real
property located in the City of Baldwin Park, County
of Los Angeles, State of California, more particularly
described as shown on the attached exhibit:
City of Baldwin Park, Zone Changes, Exhibit A".
be, and the same hereby are rezoned to conform to the
City of Baldwin Park General Plan adopted by the City
Council December, 5, 1979, and excluding zone change
area numbers 55, 89, 96 and those parcels fronting onto
Puente Avenue within zone change area numbers 70 and 71,
and the City Planner shall amend the Zoning Map of the
City of Baldwin Park" to reflect such changes.
That the City Council, at the time of the public hearing
relating to the zone changes. Case No. Z-428 determined
subject to Section 15067 of the California Environmental
Quality Act, that no environmental assessment is required
That the City Council does hereby find as follows:
a) State law requires the proposed change.
b) The properties involved in the proposed zoning are
more suitable for the purposes permitted in the
proposed zone than for the purposes permitted in
the present zone.
c) The uses permitted by the proposed zones are not
detrimental to surrounding properties.
d) The proposed zone changes are not contrary to the
spirit and intent of the General Plan or its elements.
e) That the proposed zone changes are a logical and rational
classification of the land.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance and cause the same to be published in the manner
prescribed by law.
