AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK AMENDING CHAPTER 3.28 OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE TO PROVIDE A CREDIT AGAINST TRANSIENT
OCCUPANCY TAXES DUE THE CITY FOR TRANSIENT
OCCUPANCY TAXES PAID TO THE BALDWIN PARK
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park ORDAINS as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 3.28 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code is
hereby amended by adding new Section 3.28.190, to read in its
entirety as follows:
3.28.190 Credit for transient occupancy taxes due to
Baldwin Park redevelopment agency. Any person subject to a
transient occupancy tax under the provisions of this chapter
shall be entitled to credit against the payment of transient
occupancy taxes under this chapter the amount of transient
occupancy taxes due to the Baldwin Park redevelopment agency
pursuant to Section 7280.5 of the Revenue and Taxation Code of
the state.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
