HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1129ORD 1129pT3(Ìì§ø ORDINANCE NO.1129 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING BALDWIN PARK CODE OF ORDINANCES BY ADDING SECTION 132.04 CONCERNING PUBLIC URINATION AND DEFECATION NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby ordain as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 132.04 be added to the Baldwin Park Code of Ordinances, which Section shall read as follows: SECTION 132.04- PUBLIC URINATION AND DEFECATION PROHIBITED. No person shall urinate or defecate upon his or her private property In an area exposed to public view or upon any other private property or public property, including but not limited to streets, sidewalks, alleys, parks, or other public places except into a fixture designed for the purpose and located within a restroom. A violation of this section shall be an infraction. SECTION 2. If any section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance or any part thereof is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance. The City Council hereby declares that it would have passed each section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance irrespective of the fact that any one or more section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase be declared unconstitutional. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall become effective thirty 30) days from the date of adoption.
