AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO
THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AND THE BOARD OF
ADMINSTRATION OF THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC
EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park as follows:
SECTON 1. That an amendment to the contract between the City Council of the
City of Baldwin Park and the Board of Administration, California Public Employees'
Retirement System is hereby authorized, a copy of said amendment being attached
hereto, marked Exhibit, and by such reference made a part hereof as though herein set
out in full.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to
execute said amendment for and on behalf of said Agency.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days after the date of its
adoption, and prior to the expiration of 7 days from the passage thereof shall be
published at least twice in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, a newspaper of general
circulation, published and circulated in the City of Baldwin Park and thenceforth and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall attest and certify the passage and adoption of
this ordinance, which shall take full force and effect thirty 30) days after the date of its
adoption.
APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 17th day of March 2004.

it's first reading at a regular meeting of the City Council on February 18, 2004. That
thereafter said Ordinance was duly approved and adopted at a regular meeting of the
