RESOLUTION OF T IE CITY COUNCIL OF TIIE CITY OF
B^LDvUN PARK RECOGICIZING EXISTING BUILDING PER
LlTd IN EXISTENCE UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE
LOS JJGELZ3 COUNTY DEP^I^nHNT OF BUILDING AND
S-iFETY.
WHEREAS, Baldwin Park has been incorporated on the 25th
day of January, 195 6; and
WHEREAS, prior to that date there were building permits
issued in the area incorporated, and
IJHERi^AS, the said City of Baldwin Park contemplates enter-
ing into a contract with the Los Angeles County Department of Building
and Safety for building inspection service.
rOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE and ORDER, as follows:
Section I* That it is deemed economical and satisfactory
to the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park that the building in-
spector of the Department of Building and Safety of the County of Los Angeles
and the City Clerk of the City of Baldwin Park recognize and acknowledge as
valid for a period of 180 days hereafter, any valid building permits hereto-
fore issued by the Department of Building and Safety of the County of
Los Angeles as to construction within the area of the City of Baldwin Park.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED THIS 25th day of January, 1956.
