A RESOLUTIUN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITI OF
BALDWIN PARK ESTABLISHING A PAY SCALE TOR POLICE
OFFICERS
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 9, the City of Baldwin Park on the 10th
day of February, 19$6, authorized the establishment of a police force.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby RESOLVE, DETERICLNE and ORDER, as follows 5
Section That bhe salary scale of the personnel of the police
department shall be as follows;
i'1-iniminn Maxxmum
Policeman 3U^»00 to $UltO.OO per month
Sergeant 1^0.00 to l^.OO per month.
Section 2» Salary increases shall be on an incentive basis, com-
mensurate Kith the demonstrated technical police proficiency of the per-
sonnel concerned.
Section 3. No person may receive a salary in excess of the minimum
pay scale except upon the recommendation lAf the Chief of Police and approved
by the City Council at a regular meeting.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 27th day of February, 19?6.
