CFTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALWIN PARK PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF ELECTION OFFICIALS TO CONDUCT THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TEE SECOND TUES- DAY OF APRIL, 1956, EKING THEIR COMPENSATION, ESTABLISHING POLLING PIACES, AND FIXING THE COMPENSATION THEREFOR. WHEREAS, Section 9707 of the Elections Code of the State of California directs the City Council to appoint one Inspector, one judge and t-wo clerks as election officers for each precinct for each municipal election, and shall fijc the compensa- tion such officials shall receive; and WHEREAS, the use of all regular election precincts established for holding State or county elections would be impracticable; and WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City Council fix the amount to be paid for each polling place, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE and OKDER, as follows: Section 1. That seventeen special precincts shall be established for the holding of the General Municipal Election, as follows: Special Precinct No. 1, comprised of Regular Election Precincts 3, 13 and 21. Special Precinct No. 2, comprised of Regular Election Pre&AActs 20 and 33. Special Precinct No, 3y comprised of Regular Election Precincts 8, l8 and 29. Special Precinct No. 4, comprised of Regular Election Precincts 2, l4 and 22. Special Precinct No. 5, comprised of Regular Election Precincts 1, 27 and 45. Special Precinct No. 6, comprised of Regular Election Precincts 30 and 35. Special Precinct No, 7, comprised of Regular Election Precincts 17,24 and 36. Special Precinct No. 8, comprised of Regular Election Precincts 6, 7 an(^ 34.
