A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CTTI OF BALEMCN PAEK
EENDEENG THAT TRAFHC IS HAZARDOUS AT THE INTERSECTION CT1 CIARK
STREET AND BOGART AVENUE AND KffiECTING THE ESTABLISHMENT AND
MAINTENANCE CF A STOP-SIGN AT SUCH INTERSECTION.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the intersection of Clark Street and
Bogart Avenue is hazardous to life and/or property and,
WHEREAS, the facts constituting said hazard are that autoaobiles and tracks
traTel at a high rate of speed and that there have been numerous reported possibil-
ities of accidents at such intersection,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does RESOLVE,
DETERMINE, and ORDER, as follows:
Section That a hazardous condition, dangerous to life and/or property
exists at the intersection of Clark Street and Bogart Avenue.
Section 2. The City AdoLnistrator is directed to cause the erection of a
stop sign on Bogart Avenue at both the North and South curb line or apprcadLaately
the curb line, in such a manner that the traffic approaching the said intersection
on Bogart Avenue either from the North or from the South, shall stop.
