HomeMy WebLinkAbout1956 026 CC RESO1956 026 CC RESO ZX ZPIâ8RESOLUTION NO, j^ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITX OF BALDWIN BIRK BE JOINT BRIDGE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AND IHE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES. WHEREAS, the City Council desires to enter into a Joint Bridge Maintenance Agreement as to the bridge on Francisquito Avenue over the Walnut Creek Wash and the Big Dalton Wash. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE and ORDER, as follows: On motion duly made, seconded and carried, it is ordered that the following described agreement be approved and signed by the Mayor of the City of Bald-win Park and attested to by the City Clerk of the City of Baldwin Park: Being that certain agreement by and between the County of Los Angeles, called County", and the City of Baldwin Park, called City", wherein in consideration of the mutual benefits to the County and City, and of the promises contained in said agreement, it is agreed that County, at its sole expense, shall maintain the existing bridge on Francisquito Avenue at its crossing over Walnut and Big Dalton Creeks^ and that said agreement shall remain in full force and effect until there is a change in the jurisdiction of the bridge, or upon sixty days' written notice by either party» ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED THTS T^day of May, 19?6.
