RESOLUTION OF ACCEPTANCE RE DEED OF
JAMES B. LEGG AND DOROTHY H. LEGG
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City of Baldwin Park a deed to
the following described real property in the state of California, county of
Los Angeles:
That portion of Lot U8 of El Monte Walnut Place, in the City of Baldwin Park,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown on map recorded in Book 6,
page 10U of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, described
as follows; Beginning at a point on the southeasterly line of the 200 foot
strip of land described as Parcel No, 301 in the Final Decree of Condemnation
to the Los Angeles County Flood Control District entered in Case No. 611697
Superior Court in and for the County of Los Angeles, a certified copy thereof
being recorded in Book UUU$8 page 3$7 of Official Records of said County, on
April 29, 19$i^ as Instrument No. 2$71, in Book UUU58 page 3$7 of Official
Records of said County, which point is southwesterly 720 feet, measured
along the southeasterly line of said 200 foot strip of land from the north-
easterly line of said Lot UB^ thence southeasterly along a line parallel with
said northeasterly line of Lot U8 a distance of UO feet, thence southwesterly
along a line parallel with the southeasterly line of said 200 foot strip
of land a distance of 1 foot, thence northwesterly along a line parallel to
said northeasterly line of Lot U8 a distance of h0 feet to the southeasterly
line of said 200 foot strip of land; thence northeasterly along said south--
easterly line 1 foot to the point of beginning.
VHEREAS, the said City of Baldwin Park desires to accept the said
instrument, reserving the right to dedicate the said parcel of land for street
and highway purposes at a future date,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE II RESOLVED that that certain deed executed by
JAMES B. LEGG
DOROTHY H. LEGG
is accepted by the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park.
