A RESOLUTION OF TH^ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK HE CONTRACT FOR ROADSIDE TR3E
SERVICE WITH THh; LOS ANGELES COUNTY DEPART-
MENT CF PARKS AND RECREATION.
THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDEN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS;
Section The Council of the City of Bald-win Park, pursuant
to the terms and provisions of that written agreement entitled,
Agreement General Services" dated the 25th day of January, 1956,
entered into by and between the County of Los Angeles and the City of
Baldwin Park, does hereby request the County of Los Angeles to pro-
vide through the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation,
roadside tree service for the entire C5ty of Baldwin Park. Said Roadside
Tree Service shall be provided when necessary and subject to approval
of the City Administrator of the City of Baldwin Park.
Section 2. It is hereby requested that the Board of Supervisors,
or its designated agency or agent, approve and authorize the performance
of the services requested in Section 1 of this Resolution, subject to
those terms and conditions set forth in said written agreement of Jan-
uary 25, 1956.
Section 3« The City Clerk is directed to forward a certified copy
of this Resolution to N. S. Johnson, Superintendent of Parks and Recrea-
tion of Los Angeles County, and to John D. Maharg, of the Los Angeles
County Council's office, and to the Honorable Herbert C. Legg.

do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by
the City Council of said City and was approved by the Mayor ofsaid
