A RESOLUTION OF THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDEN PARK AMENISNG RESOLUTION NO. ill- PROVIUNG
FOR THE ADOPTION OF A SYSTEM OF STREETS TO BE
RECOMMENDED AS MAJOR CITI STREETS".
WHEREAS, the state of California has determined that the streets
enumerated in Section 1 of Resolution No. lU of the City of Baldwin
Park, actopted on the 19th day of March, 19i?6, are in excess of the
number for which funds wuld be available.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldw-n Park does
hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE and CRDER, as follows:
Section 1. That it is hereby deemed desirable and satisfactory
to the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park that the following
named streets be selected as major city streets upon the basis that
said streets are of the greatest general city importance. Said streets
are designated as;
Sierra Madre Avenue.
Maine Avenue, from intersection with Holt Avenue northerly to
city limits.
Los Angeles Street,
Ramona Boulevard north of Pacific Electric Railroad tracks,
easterly from Harland Avenue to the east city limits.
Ramona Boulevard south of Pacific Electric Railroad tracks,
in its entirety,
El Monte Street easterly to Puente Avenue,
Baldwin Park Boulevard.
Vineland avenue from San Bemardino Freeway to Holt Avenue.
Puenfce Avenue.
Holt Avenue.
North Merced Avenue from Ramona Boulevard to junction with East
Merced Avenue.
East Merced Avenue from junction with North Merced Avenue to
San Bemardino Freeway.
Francisquito Avenue from Baldwin Park Boulevard southeasterly
to city limits,
Section 2, The City streets selected as major city streets are indicated
upon and shown upon the attached street map of the City of Baldwin Park
which map is designated as Exhibit A and made a part of this Resolution.
Section 3« The City Clerk of the City of Baldwin Park is directed
to forward two certified copies of this Resolution together with two copies
of the attached map to the District Engineer, Division of Highways of the
State of California,

I, Elmer Cook, City Clerk of the City of Baldwin Park, California,
130 HEREBY CERIIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the
City Council of said City and was approved ty the Mayor of said city at
a regular meeting of said City Council held on the day of Mc^^i
19$6, and that it was so adopted by the following vote;
