A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
TO AMECT RESOLUTION NO. 36, IN RE CONTRACT FOR STREET SWEEPING
SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the Conn-by of Los Angeles has requested that street sweeping
services be rendered under the provisions of Agreement Street Kain-
tenance"^ and
WHEREAS, Eesolution No. 36 of City of Baldwin Park provided for such
services to be rendered under the Agreement General Services" j
N%, TH35RETORE, 3E IT RESOLVED, DETEPJ-IINE.D AND CHDERED as follows:
Section 1. That Section 1 of Resolution No. 36, City of Baldwin Park be
amended to read:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park pursuant to
the terms and provisions of the written agreement dated the 2$th day of
January, 19$6, entitled Agreement Street Maintenance", entered into by
and between the City of Baldwin Park and the County of Los Angeles, does
hereby request the County of Los Angeles to provide through the Los Angeles
County Road Department, street sweeping services to and for the City of
Baldwin Park."
Section 2. The City Gisrk of the City of Baldwin Park is directed to
forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the Clerk of the Board of
Supervisors^ to the Road Commissioner of the County of Los Angeles, to the
County Counsel, and to the Honorable Herbert C. Legg, County Supervisor.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED THIS J^~__ day of July, 1956.
