A RESOLUTION OF TEE C3TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALWIN
PARK RE COMPACT FOR COUNTY ENGINEER SERVICES.
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby resolve,
determine and order as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park pursuant
to the terms and provisions of the written agreement entered Into on 25th day
of January, 1956, by and between the County of Los Angeles and the City of
Baldwin Park, does hereby request the County of Los Angeles to provide
through the office of County Surveyor the services of City Engineer pertain-
ing to subdivisions and maps and plans thereof within the incorporated limits
of the City of Baldwin Park, those services requested being the services re-
quired of the City Engineer pursuant to the terms of Section 11593 of the
Subdivision Map Act, Chapter 2, Part 2 of Division k of the Business and
Professions Code, and required by Section 9226 of Chapter 2 of Article 3X
of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code.
Section 2. It is hereby requested that the Board of Supervisors of Los
Angeles County approve and authorize the performance of the services requested
in Section 1 of this Resolution, subject to those terms and conditions set
forth in said written agreement referred to before herein.
Section 3. The City Clerk is directed to forward a certified copy of
this Resolution to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.
ADOPTED, SmKED AND APPROVED this 30th day of July, 1956.

I, Elmer Cook, City Clerk of the City of Baldwin Park, do hereby certify
that the foregoing Resolution No. h9 was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Baldwin Park at the special meeting of said Council on the 30th day of
July, 1956, and signed by the Mayor of said City, and that said Resolution was
adopted by the following vote:
