A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK CONFIRMING CONTRACT FOR AMBULANCE
SERVICES WTH THE COUNTY OF LOS AN02ES
WHEREAS, on January 26, 19^6, the City Council of the City of
Baldwin P&rk desired to contract with the County of Los Angeles for
ambulance services; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Administrative Officer of Los Angeles County,
pursuant to such request,presented a written coionunication to the Board
of Supervisors of Los Angeles County setting forth the request and submit-
ting a proposed contract identical in terms with that already executed
foriineteen other cities and recoioaending that the Board approve and
authorize the Chairman to sign the attached contract^ and
WHEREAS, the Chairman, pro tern, of the Board of Supervisors of
Los Angeles County did sign an agreement for ambulance service on the
31st day of January, 19^6 by and between the County of Los Angeles and
the City of Baldwin Park, which signature was attested by Gordon T.
Nesvig, Deputy County Clerk; and
WHEREAS, THE City of Baldwin Park has received ambulance service,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER, as follows:
Section 1: The City Council hereby ratifies the execution of the
agreement for ambulance service approved on Janaary 26, 19^6.
Section 2; That the agreement drawn by the County of Los Angeles
and duly signed by the proper officials on the 31st day of January, 19?6,
is accepted as of that date.
Section 3s That the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of
Baldwin Park aFe authorized and directed to sign the agreement approved
on January 31, 19$6.
Section U; That the City Clerk transmit a copy of this resolution
to the Chief Administrative Officer of Los Angeles County and to the
Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of Los Angeles County.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APHIOVED this 6th day of August, 19$6.
