A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TTTE
CITY OF BALUJir PARK TO THE ABRAIiAI-I LINCOLN POST NO. 2^1

RE PRESENTATION OF NATIONAL AND STATE FLAGS.

of the American Legion of the City of Balcwin Park California did, by and
through thpir Commander, Bill Heman, and the President of the American
Legion Women's Auxiliary, Mrs. Bonnie Hudson, present the City of Baldwin
Park with national and State flags, complete with standards and bases, for
use of the City, and
IJ::EREAS the City Council o^ the City of Bald-win Park desires to accept the
said flags and to express their appreciation to the donors now therefore oe
it RESOLVED, DETE<KTNLD, AND ORDERED as follows:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park accepts
on behalf of the said City the National and State flags together with the
standards acid bases donated to the City by the Abraham Lincoln Post No. 2l4J.
of the Arierican Legion of the City of Baldx'jin Park,
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park for itself
and on behalf of the residents of the said City do hereby express their
sincere appreciation for said gifts.
Section 3« e City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution and it is ordered that be shall submit a copy hereof duly
certified to the Abraham Lincoln Post No, 2^1 American Legion of the City
of Baldwin Park, California, and to the American Legion Women's Auxiliary
Unit 2Ul of bhe City of Baldwin Park, California.
