HomeMy WebLinkAbout1957 007 CC RESO1957 007 CC RESO ZX ZPJw8RESOLUTION NO. 7-7 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF IHE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ESTABLISHING THE SOUTH SIDE OF RAMONA BOULEVARD FROM THE INTERSECTION OF BALDWIN PARK BOULEVARD TO TE-IE INTERSECTION OF BOGART SIREET AS A TEMPORARY EASTBOUND ONE-WAY STREET. WHEREAS, Ramona Boulevard, South of the Pacific Electric right- of-way is obstructed by construction work so that business establishments in the area arc adversely affected by difficulty of freight deliveries and lack of space for customer parking; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park desires to establish affected portions of said Ramona Boulevard as an Eastbound one-way street for a period of sixty 60) days; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED as follows: Section 1. The following described portion of Ramona Boulevard in the City of Baldwin Park is hereby established as a one-way street for a period of sixty 60) days from the date of this Resolution, with traffic directed to move in an Easterly direction only, to wit: That portion South of the Pacific Electric right-of-way from the intersection of Baldwin Park Boulevard to the intersection of Bogart Street. Section 2. During the sixty 60) day period, that the above-named portion of Ramona Boulevard is established as a one-way street, with street parking of passenger veliicles to be limited to a period of thirty 30) minutes, Section 3. The Police Department is directed to post signs adequate to direct the flow of traffic safely in the desired direction and to limit the parking of passenger vehicles to a period of thirty 30) minutes* ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this /^/' day of January, 1957.
