RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CCTY OF
BABDTO E&RK, APPROVING A FRANCHISE BCMD FTTCT BY
SOUTHERN CAUTCRNIA EDISON COMPANY, A CORPCBATION.
TtfHEREAS, on the 7th day of January, 19^7^ to pursuance of a
Notice of Intention to Grant Franchise heretofore published by the City
of Baldwin Park, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park duly
adopted Ordinance No* 3$ in the manner prescribed by law granting to
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, a franchise, for an indeterminate
period, to use and to construct and use, for transmitting and distribut-
ing electricity for say and all purposes, poles, vires, conduits and
appurtenances, including communication circuits necessary or proper
therefor, in, along, across, upon, over and under the public streets,
ways, alleys and places within the City of Baldwin Park^ and
WHEREAS, said Southern California Edison Company has heretofore,
pursuant to law and the provisions of said Ordinance No. 3$ granting said
franchise, filed a franchise bond running in favor of said City of Baldwin
Park, State of California, in the arount of Five Thousand Dollars

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said franchise bond, wherein
Southern Calif ornia Edison Company is named as Kancipal and Pacific
Indemnity Company, a corporation duly qualified and authorized to do a
surety business in the State of California, is named as Surety, be and
the same is hereby approved,
