A RESOLUTION OF TILE CITY COUNCIL OP HIE CITY
OF EALD'iVIN PARI-: ESTABLISHING A PORTION OF
LAURENS STPvEET AS A LOADING ZONE AND UNLOADING
ZONE OF PASSENGERS OR FREIGHT,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Paris, pursuant to
the authority granted by Section 459.8 and Section 472 of the Veliicle Code of
the State of California, determines to establish a portion of Laurens Street
in the City of Baldwin Park as an area where persons are prohibited from na'--ki*n.g
at any hour from 8:00 A.M» until 6:00 P.:;. cxccpz Cor the purpose of loading or
unloading of passengers and freight;
NOW, T['LEREK)RE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED as follows:
Section 1, Pursuant to fchc authority granted by Section 459.8 and
Section 472 of the Vehicle Code of t.ie State of California, the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby establish t"ic following portion of Laurens Street in
the City of Baldwin Park as an area where persons are prohibited from parking
at any hour fron 8:00 A,M, until 6:00 P.M. except for the purpose of loading or
unloading of passengers and freight.
Section 2» The portion of Laurens Street upon which Vehicle parking
is prohibited except for loading or unloading of passengers and freight is as
follows:
For a distance of Twenty 20) feet, beginning at a point eight
80) feet North of the intersection of Ranona Boulevard and Laurens
Street.
Section 3, The City Administrator is directed to cause the curb in
the designated area to be painted yellow, and shall cause to be designated thereon
that tlie said area is a passenger and freight loading and unloading zone,
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this fj- day of February, 1957.
