EIECTION TO BE HELD fSS THE FOI3RTH TI3ES-, DAY OF FEBRUARY, 19?7, FIXING THEIR COMIENSSlTION, ESTABLISHING POLLING PIACES, AND FIXING THE COMPENSATION THEREFGR. WBERE&S, Section 9707 of the Elections Code of the State of California directs the City Council to appoint one inspector, one judge and two clerks as election officers for each precinct for each municipal election, and shall fix the compensation such officials shall receiver and WHEREAS, the use of all regular election precincts established for holding State or County elections would be impracticable 5 and WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City Council fix the amount to be paid for each polling place.
