A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK ESTABLISHING A PORTION OF LAURENS
STREET AS A NO PARKING" AREA ON 1HE EASTERLY
SIDE OF LAURENS STREET NORTH OF RAt^DNA BOULEVARD
AND IHUS MODIFYING RESOLUTION NO. 57-15.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park did, by
Resolution No. 57-15, on the 4th day of February, 1957, pursuant to the
authority granted by Section 459,8 of the Vehicle Code of the State of
California, establish a portion of Laurens Street as an area where vehicles
are prohibited from parking at all hours of the day or night; and
WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to have no parking" signs
posted in lieu of having the curb painted red in the designated area;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED and ORDERED as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to the authority granted by Section 459.8 of
the Vehicle Code of the State of California, the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby establish the following portion of Laurens Street
in the City of Baldwin Park as an area where vehicles are prohibited from
parking at all hours of the day or night,
Section 2. The portion of Laurens Street upon which vehicle
parking is prohibited is designated as follows:
The Easterly side of Laurens Street North of the intersection of
Laurens Street and Ramona Boulevard for a distance of eighty 80*)
feet.
Section 3. The City Administrative Officer is directed to cause
No Parking" signs to be erected and maintained at the designated portion of
Laurens Street in lieu of the curb being painted red.
