A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDV-HN PARK PROVIDING
FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF ELECTION OFFICIALS TO CONDUCT THE SPECIAL MUNI-
CIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON THE FIRST TUESDAY OF MAY, 1957, FIXING
THEIR COMPENSATION, ESTABLISHING POLLING PLACES, AND FIXING THE COMPEN-
SATION THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, Section 9707 of the Elections Code of the State of California
directs the City Council to appoint one inspector, one Judge and two clerks
as election officers for each precinct for each municipal election, and
shall fix the compensat ion such officials shall receive; and

State or County elections would be impracticable; and
WHEREAS, the use of a

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby
RESOLVE, DETERMINE and ORDER, as follows:
