A RESOLUTION OF TOE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK APPOINTING 1HE LAW FIRM OF FERGUSON
AND JUDGE AS TOE CITY ATTORNEYS FOR THE CITY AND
ESTABLISHING TOE RATE OF PAY.
WEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park has,
in Executive Sessions, interviewed attorneys for the position of City
Attorney for the City of Baldwin Park; and
WHEREAS, the law firm of Ferguson and Judge possesses the
qualifications which are necessary for the position of City Attorney of
the City of Baldwin Park,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE and ORDER as follows;
Section 1. Warren J. Ferguson and James F. Judge, of the firm
of Ferguson and Judge, attomeys-at-law, 128 East Amerige Avenue, Fullerton,
California, are appointed the City Attorneys for the City of Baldwin Park
effective the 1st day of June, 1957.
Section 2. Said law firm of Ferguson and Judge shall receive
as compensation the total sum of $750.00 per month for all the duties
assigned to it by the City Council plus the sum of $150,00 per day in
court that said firm represents the City of Baldwin Park or its officials
in their official capacity, in legal actions. In the event that a court
action is for one-half day or less, then the compensation shall be $75,00.
Section 3. In accordance with the authority of the City Council
over all of^the appointive officers or employees of the City of Baldwin
Park, this appointment is at the will of the City Council.
