A RESOLUTION OF TOE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAIDOTN PARK GRANTING A TEMPORARY
ZONE VARIANCE FOR CONDITIONAL C-2 USES.
CASE NO. 120. SERVICE COUNCIL CARNIVAL,
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Baldwin Park Planning
Commission at its regular meeting May 13, 1957; and

KffiIERBAS, a public hearing was held by the Baldwin Park City
at its regular meeting on June 3, 1957, at 8:00 P.M. at the Old
School Auditorium, 4006 North Pacific Avenue, Baldwin Park. California;
WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of June, 1957, the City Council considered
the evidence introduced and the recommendations of the City Planning Commission,
as contained in Resolution No. 140, dated May 13, 1957;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby BESOLVE, DETERMINE and ORDER as follows:
Section 1. The Baldwin Park Service Council is granted a
temporary zone variance for the operation of a carnival for the period of
June 19 to 23, 1957, inclusive, on the premises located at the corner of Sierra
Madre Avenue and Ramona Boulevard, more particularly described as the area
approximately three hundred fifty feet 350') deep from Sierra Madre Avenue
and approximately five hundred feet 500') deep from Ramona Boulevard, as
shown on the attached Map, and presently zoned C-l, subject to the following
conditions:
a) That the variance be valid for the period June 19 to 23,
1957, inclusive, only.
b) That proper precautions be taken to prevent any damage
to the neighboring properties,
c) That on departure of the carnival the lot be restored to
its original condition.
ADOPTED, SIGNED and APPROVED this 3rd day of June. 1957.
