A RESOLUTION OP THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK REQUESTING THE SER-
VICES OP THE OFFICE OF THE DISTRICT AT-
TORNEY TO ACT AS THE CITY PROSECUTOR FOR
THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park has heretofore
entered into a General Services Agreement with the County
of Los Angeles to provide certain services to the City up-
on the request of the City Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park, pursuant to the terms and provisions of ttiat certain
General Service Agreement dated the^jT^day Q£J^^ y 9
195/g, entered into by and between the County of Los Angeles
and the City of Baldwin Park, does hereby request the County
of Los Angeles to provide through the office of the District
Attorney of Los Angeles County, the services of City Prose-
cutor in respect to the enforcement in all matters of all
municipal penal ordinances of the City of Baldwin Park and
with respect to the consulation and advice in the matter of
the filing of complaints pursuant to said municipal penal
ordinances and in respect to the preparation of criminal
complaints.
SECTION 2: It is hereby requested that the Board
of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles authorize the
performance of these services pursuant to the Agreement here-
in above referred to.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution and shall forward a certified
copy of the same to the Board of Supervisors or Los Angeles
County and to the office or the District Attorney of said
City.
