fl RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN
ARK ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF HELMER SYHRE AS CHIEF
OF POLICE.
WHEREAS, HELMER SYHRE was appointed Chief of Police of the
City of Baldwin Park by Resolution No« 9 9 adopted February 10, 19^6;
and
WHEREAS, he served continuously in that capacity until Sep-
tember 3) 19^7; and
WHEREAS, he has tendered his resignation effective September
3, 19^7,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED as
follows:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
accepts with regret the resignation of Mr. Syhre, effective September
3, 19?7.
Section 2. That the City Council expresses its sincere appreci-
ation for the find manner in which Mr. Syhre has helped organize and
guide the Police Department of the City of Baldwin Park during the first
months of its existence^ that his service has been particularly meritorious
because of the peculiarly trying conditions with respect to the Police
Department that have existed during this period.
Section 3« Tha t the City Clerk be directed to furnish Mr. Syhre
a certified copy of this Resolution, nroperly signed and attested.
