Home My WebLink About1957 090 CC RESO1957 090 CC RESO¼òw @|]ÓRESOLUTION NO. 57-90 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A PART OF LOT 39, TRACT 1;}-121, WITHIN THE CITY WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park has been requested to vacate part of Lot 39, Tract 14121, within the City. NOV/, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows: SECTION 1: Pursuant to the provisions of Chapters 1, 2 and 3, Part 3, of Division 9, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, being Sections 8300 through 8331, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby declare its intention to vacate that part of Lot 39, Trad 1^.121, which is hereinafter referred to in this reso- 1ution. SECTION 2: The legal description of that part of Lot 39, Tract1L l2l, which the City Counci1 does hereby declare its intention to vacate is set forth in Exhibit A", which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, SECTION 3! The City Counci1 does hereby refer to that certain Llap on file in the office of the City Clerk entitled, Vacation of future street shown as Lot 39 in Tract 14.121", for particulars as to the proposed vacation. S£CTION_ 4: The City Council does hereby fix the U-. day of November 19^7, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.L-. in the Counci 1 Chambers at the Old Central School Auditorium, 4006 North Pacific, Baldwin Park, Cat ifornia, as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to Lhe proposed vacat ion. SECTION The City Engineer of the City of Baldwin Park shall post notices of said vacation conspicuously along the line of the street or part thereof proposed to be vacaLed at least ten days prior to KQveniber 4_______, 1957. Such notices shall be posted not more Ulan 300 feet apart but at leasL three notices shall be posted. Such notices shall state the passage of thi s Resolution of Intention and the time and place of the public hearing as set forth in this Resolution of Intention. SECTION 6: The City Clerk shall cause this Resolution of Intention to be postea or published in the manner pre- scribed by law for the publishing or posting of ordinances of the City of Baldwin Park.
