HomeMy WebLinkAbout1957 124 CC RESO1957 124 CC RESO¼òw @|^YRESOLUTION NO. f^ 7^7 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES FOR LEGAL HOLIDAY AND OVERTIME WORK IN SAID CITY FOR CERTAIN CRAFTS OR TYPES OF WORKMEN. Assessment District No. 1956-1) Howellhursfc) WHEREAS, this City Council has by its Resolution No. 57-115 ordered certain work or Improvement, said work or improvement being more particularly described in its resolution of intention. PROVIDED^ that one and one-half 1-1/2) times the said prevailing rate of wages shall be paid for any working time more than eight 8) hours during any one 1) calendar day. Further provided, that two 2) times the said prevail- ing rate of wages shall be paid for any working time on Sundays and the seven 7) legal holidays, to wit: New Yearns Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veteran^ Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas. 3.
