RESOLUTION OP THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA,
DETERMINING THE GENERAL PREVAILING
RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES FOR LEGAL
HOLIDAY AND OVERTIME WORK IN SAID
CITY FOR CERTAIN CRAFTS OR TYPES
OF WORKMEN.

WHEREAS, this City Council has by its Resolution
No. 57-118 ordered certain work or Improvement, said work
or Improvement being more particularly described in its
resolution of Intention, Resolution No* 57»i0i4 and shown on
plans which Include profiles and detailed drawings) designated
Plans and profile No, 56-3" on file in the office of the City
Clerk of said city, and described in specifications designated
Specifications No. 56-1", also on file in the office of said
City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, this City Council by Resolution No, 57-119
has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages
in the locality In which said work is to be performed for each
craft or type of workman needed to execute the contract for
said work, and this City Council has ascertained the general
prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work in said
locality for each craft or type of workman needed to execute
said contract; and
WHEREAS, said rates do not correspond with the
applicable wage rates established by collective bargaining
agreements and such rates as may have been predetermined for
federal public works, within the loeaity and in the nearest labor
market area under the terms of Section 1773 of the Labor Code.
