A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A
PORTION OF LOTS 2$ and 26, TRACT 1$308, OF THE
COUNTY OF L06 ANGELES, WITHIN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
has been requested to vacate a portion of Lots 2^ and 26 of
Tract 15308 of the County of Los Angeles, within said City;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows;
SECTIOM 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Chapters 1, 2,
and 3, Part 3, of Division 9^ of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of California, being Sections 8300 through 8331,
the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby declare
its intention to vacate that portion of Lots 2$ and 26 of Tract
1^308 which is hereinafter referred to in this resolution.
SECTION 2, The legal description of that portion of
Lots 2^and26 of Tract 1^306 of the County of Los Angeles
which the City Council does hereby declare its intention to
vacate, is set forth in exhibit A", which is attached hereto
and made a part hereof.
SECTION 3: The City Council does hereby refer to that
certain Map on file in the office of the City Clerk, entitled,
Proposed Vacation of a portion of Lots 2f? and 26, of Tract
1^308 of the County of Los Angeles", for particulars as to the
proposed vacation.
SECTION h.. The City Council does hereby fix the 20th day
of January_______, 19^9, at the hour of 8:00 o»clock P.M., in
the Auditorium of the Old Central School, as the time and place
for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the pro-
posed vacation,
SECTION The City Engineer of the City of Baldwin Park
shall post notices of said vacation conspicuously along the line
of the street or part thereof proposed to be vacated at least
ten,days prior to January 20th,___, 19^.. Such notices
shall be posted not siore than 300 feet apart but at least three
notices shall be posted. Such notices shall state the passage
of this Resolution of Intention and the time and place of the
public hearing as set forth in this Resolution of Intention.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall cause this Resolution of
Intention to be posted or published in the manner prescribed
by law for the publishing or posting of Ordinances of the City
of Baldwin park.

SECTION 7: In any proceedings for the vacation of the
portions of the lots referred to In this Resolution, the City
Clerk may determine that the public convenience and necessity
require the reservation of easements and rights of way for
structures enumerated in Section 6300 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, and all proceedings
are taken subject to such reservations and exceptions.

was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park and was approved by the Mayor of said City at a regular
meeting of said City Council held on the 6th day of
January 19^8 and that it was adopted by the fol-
