A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
THE WESTERLY 30-FOOT EXTENSION OF LOT 14, OF TRACT
l52$2, OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, WITHIN THE
CITY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park has
been requested to vacate the Westerly 30-foot extension of Lot
14., of Tract 15252, of the County of Los Angeles, within said
City;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
SECTION 1> Pursuant to the provisions of Chapters 1, 2,
and 3, Part 3, of Division 9, of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California, being Sections 8300 through
8331, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does here-
by declare its intention to vacate the Westerly 30~foot ex-
tension of Lot ll)-> of Tract 15252, of the County of Los
Angeles, which is hereinafter referred to in this resolution,
SECTION 2. The legal description of the Westerly 30-foot
extension of Lot 11^ of Tract 15252, of the County of Los
Angeles which the City Council does hereby declare its inten-
tion to vacate, is set forth in Exhibit A", which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof.
SECTION 3* The City Council does hereby refer to that
certain Map on file in the office of the City Clerk, entitled,
Proposed Vacation of the Westerly 30-foot Extension of Lot
14, of Tract 15252, of the County of Los Angeles", for par-
ticulars as to the proposed vacation.
SECTION li. The City Council does hereby fix the 20th day
of Januazy______, 1958, at the hour of 8:00 P.M., in the
Auditorium of the Old Central School, as the time and place
for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the
proposed vacation.
SECTION 5« The City Engineer of the City of Baldwin Park
shall post notices of said vacation conspicuously along the
line of the street or part thereof proposed to be vacated at
least ten days prior to January 20th____^ 1958. Such
notices shall be posted not more than 300 feet apart but at
least three notices shall be posted. Such notices shall state
the passage of this Resolution of Intention and the time and
place of the public hearing as set forth in this Resolution of
Intention.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall cause this Resolution of
Intention to be posted or published in the manner prescribed
by law for the publishing or posting of Ordinances of the City
of Baldwin Park.

SECTION 7. In any proceedings for the vacation of the
portions of the lot referred to in this Resolution, the City
Clerk may determine that the public convenience and necessity
require the reservation of easements and rights of way for
structures enumerated in Section 8300 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, and all proceedings
are taken subject to such reservations and exceptions.

was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Baldwin

January 19$6, and that it was adopted by the fol-
